Hi there,
Rahat Tourism will be returning to activity after the third closure and will be take part in the annual celebration of the blooming anemones, by taking part in the "Darom Adom (Red South) Festival".
The Festival of the Northern Negev will return to the open spaces, with all necessary adjustments in light of the restrictions. Despite, and perhaps thanks to, the recent closures, along with the rains, the anemones seem to be blooming this year more than ever, and they are waiting for visitors to return to visit the natural sites in the area.
As part of the festival, tourist in the Beduin city of Rahat will be offered guided tours around the city and the city market, culinary tours, art and culinary workshops, outdoor Bedouin meals and a special independent culinary tour termed "Mapit" or "Napkin".
For more details on the activities and events, please refer to the Hebrew website or contact email rahat.tourism@gmail.com in English.
WHEN: Fridays and Saturdays throughout February 2021
There may be changes in activity dates if the closure is extended. Please keep up to date on their Facebook page.
Best,
Talma
