Hi there!
To my mind, healthy snacks are just as important for maintaining a healthy lifestlye as the main meals. That being said, I am happy to share with you two new additions to the food industry in Israel.
'EXTRA' rice-based, gluten-free crisps
Sugar free, Gluten-free, Low Carb. Chocolate Bars by 'Caring Candies'
'EXTRA' rice-based, gluten-free crisps
Maimon Spices, the oldest and best-selling spice company in Israel and owner of the 'Maimon' brand, is launching for the first time a series of revolutionary crispy products that have conquered the world. The company will start marketing the rice-based crisps of the international brand 'rice-UP'', that is manufactured in Bulgaria and is currently being sold in over 60 countries. In Israel, the crisps will be launched under the brand 'EXTRA', that was developed jointly for the Israeli consumer.
The EXTRA crisps series is produced by a unique technology, from the whole rice kernel and not from rice flour, and includes about 35 products. Among the products in the series are Personalized Rice Crisps made from whole brown rice that come in individual packages in a variety of flavors including: natural, buckwheat, 7 super seeds, chia and quinoa and Himalayan Salt. Crisps in a Savings Package - brown rice crisps in a 200 gram packaging divided into 4 inner packages with 7 super seeds and Himalayan salt. Belgian Chocolate Crisps - Crispy brown rice crisps in packages of 30, 70 and 90 grams coated with either Belgian dark chocolate, Belgian milk chocolate or Belgian white chocolate.
In addition, the company will market a series of Rice Chips - crispy full rice snacks in packages of 25, 60 and 120 grams in a variety of flavors; Tastes of Texas barbecue, hot chili, paprika and sea salt, as well as 2 additional sub-series: Extra Protein Rice Chips: 60 g rice chip packs with red lentils, black lentils and mash beans and Super Seeds Rice Chips: 60g rice chip packs containing buckwheat, chia and quinoa and sunflower seeds.
In the development of the category, great emphasis is placed on taste, texture and ingredients. Extra Crispy - The unique technology in which they are made allows the crisps to be extra crispy and thin. Extra Healthy - Baked crisps, made from whole grains and produced by heating the whole kernel to preserve the full range of vitamins and minerals. In addition, the crisps contain grains, legumes, added protein and have a low caloric value. All the products are gluten-free and, with the exception of chocolate chips, do not contain animal and vegan ingredients.
According to Tzachi Canaan, one of the top clinical dietitians in Israel, "If you ask me as a dietitian who specializes in weight loss, metabolism and sports nutrition, what product would you dream of having on the shelf? There is no doubt that an EXTRA, a protein-rich snack is it. This baked snack combines whole grains with legumes, made from heating the whole kernel to preserve the full range of vitamins and minerals is recommended as a delicious, nutritious and low-calorie snack."
According to Avraham Maimon, CEO, "This is an extraordinary move in size but on the other hand, a natural development of the company and a penetration into new culinary arenas that fit into its vision and values. The bread substitute market, which includes rice crisps, is undergoing a revolution. From a negligible and unbranded merchandise, it has become a major product in the family diet. As a leading company in the culinary worlds, we strive to put the best product in each category on the shelf. The collaboration with the rice-UP brand allows us to bring consumers the delicious and healthy crisps that have overtaken each of the 62 countries in which they have been marketed. Together with the company's experienced development team, emphasis was placed on the quality of the products and raw materials, their texture, nutritional value, and of course their excellent taste. We strongly believe in the growing products and category and are pleased to expand the company's operations, in collaboration with a world-renowned manufacturer."
